Whether you have a blanket licence or a single-use licence affects how you report the music used.
Both are simple and straightforward

Broadcast Blankets & TV Programmes

Report via cue sheet

If you have a TV Programme license from us, you can download a cue sheet and submit it to the TV Licensing team. Simley enter the production details in the header and for each production music track enter

  • Track Title

  • Composer(s)

  • Publisher(s)

  • Label

  • Music Origin = "L"

If you’re working on a production commissioned by a broadcaster, they may have their own version of a cue sheet or online system. The data needed will be simsler to the above.

Single Use Licences

Report via Licence Manager

  1. Go to your saved production in Licencem Manager (HERE)

  2. Add track

  3. Enter the duration, then proceed

  4. Click find track

  5. Enter track title & surname then click find

  6. If the track is found click add track

  7. If the track is not found, click add manually, select the library that supplied the music from the drop-down list and any category or reference numbers you may have for it, and click add.

  8. Repeat for each track.

  9. Once all the tracks are added you can finalize your licence application
